Description

We are looking for you who are a trained teacher with the qualifications to teach at the lower secondary level (grades 4-6).

In the role of class teacher, you are expected to work based on a shared understanding of the organization's mission, where the students' best interests are at the center. Your contribution in daily meetings and dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues is crucial to achieving the goal of equal education and high-quality teaching. You are expected to take overall responsibility for the results achieved, both academically and socially, and contribute to safe and inclusive teaching.

With a positive and solution-oriented approach, you work from a holistic view of the student's development and learning.

The assignment is about ensuring that every student receives the best possible education based on our governing documents. We hope that you, in particular, want to be involved in development, take initiative, and seek out new challenges and tasks.

You will be part of a work team and, independently and together with others, plan, implement, document, and evaluate the pedagogical work.

At Silverskolan in Arjeplog, we are approximately 45 staff members taking care of our 250 students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach at the lower secondary level.

We are looking for you who want to work in a smaller community where security and a sense of belonging are important.

You should be willing to cooperate, open, and responsive in your interactions with others. You are interested in developing yourself and the school and dare to think outside the box.

You see students' different needs and take their prerequisites into account.

As a teacher, you must have the ability to take responsibility, plan, implement, and follow up on the operations.

You should have basic computer skills to be able to use the IT tools we use in teaching.

In collegial learning, you are happy to share both knowledge and experience and spread joy at work. In the work of including all students, you show great commitment and interest.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Particular weight is placed on personal suitability.
