Hi! I am Cornelia and I am looking for a new assistant

Right now, I am looking for my new assistant who can step in on an extra/as-needed basis! Perhaps you are studying or have another part-time job and want to work a little extra? Then this is perfect for you!

My name is Cornelia and I am 11 years old. I live in Höganäs Municipality – currently in Lerberget every other week and in Viken every other week (shortly I will be living in Viken full-time). My family consists of my mom and my dad (whom I live with alternately every other week), my twin brother, and of course the world's best Labradoodle, Amica.

I have a rare syndrome, ADNP, which means I have an intellectual disability, ADHD, and CVI (cortical visual impairment). This is why I need you by my side – an assistant who wants to fill my (and your) days with joy, fun, and lots of play! I want you to be open, positive, creative, and playful.

Since I have difficulty seeing certain things, you need to guide, motivate, inspire, and cheer me on! I know a number of words but would gladly take your help to make myself understood. It is not always easy to get out what I actually want to say! You will also help with mealtimes, dressing/undressing, showering/hygiene, and diaper changes (if you have experience with water enemas and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), this is a big plus). A requirement from my side is that you are non-smoking!

I love visiting different playgrounds, going to the stable, going to the library, crafting, and baking. I also have a great interest in music, dance, and gymnastics, so I am looking for you who are ready to be yourself and let loose with me! As a person, I am happy and quick to laugh, but I can also be stubborn and determined, which is why it is important that you can be confident in yourself, receptive, low-affective, and fearless in your communication. You understand; – I will gladly test your boundaries from time to time...

My next assistant is a girl, and your age does not matter! The most important thing is that you see me, are engaged, and have a low-affective approach. Since there is quite a bit of lifting involved in the job, I would like you to have good physical fitness. It is not a requirement, but of course, it is meritorious if you have experience from previous assistant or care work (or work with younger children). If you also have experience with PEG, this is a big plus (medicine and some food are administered this way). A driver's license (manual car) is a requirement for this position.

You will work extra for me as needed, such as during illness, vacations, holidays, etc., so it is important that you are flexible and can step in with short notice as well as planning further ahead in time. Before any potential employment, you will shadow and be able to get help from my existing assistants. I want you to feel secure regarding routines, tasks, and of course, keeping up with me!
