Your role

As an Information Security Specialist in IT Cybersecurity & Architecture at LKAB, you will become part of our information security team and play a key role in developing and driving our security work forward. You work in an advisory capacity in close collaboration with operations and IT, translating risk profiles, requirements, and business needs into long-term sustainable security solutions.

The role includes specifying requirements and reviewing security solutions and security architecture, as well as ensuring that principles, methods, and controls are embedded and adhered to. You contribute with a holistic perspective, drive improvement work, and communicate security issues clearly to different target groups.

What you bring with you

You have a strong security focus and work in a structured and analytical manner in complex environments. With your ability to see connections, identify risks, and draw well-founded conclusions, you contribute to developing sustainable and secure solutions. You are collaborative and thrive in close dialogue with both IT and operations, where you drive the work forward together with others. At the same time, you are communicative and have the ability to explain complex security issues in a clear and adapted manner, which creates understanding and anchoring within the organization.

We expect you to have:

• Completed upper secondary education.
• Category B driver's license.
• Experience in information and/or IT security work, including risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in specifying requirements, reviewing, or designing secure IT solutions.
• Experience in translating regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27000, NIS/NIS2, GDPR) into practical requirements and methods.

It is meritorious to have:

• Experience in leading and further developing information security work.
• Experience in working with IT architecture from a security perspective.
• Experience in establishing or managing an ISMS (e.g., according to ISO 27001), including follow-up and improvement.
• Experience in risk and continuity work, as well as handling third-party and supplier risks.
