About the workplace

Responsibilities

At the Adapted Primary School, there are three after-school care sections. Your main task will be to work with the quality plan for the after-school care and help develop teaching in line with regulatory documents. Your work may also include teaching during school hours based on your subject combinations, potentially at the lower or middle school level, in specific subjects or subject areas. Together with your colleagues, you will drive pedagogical development for the students. You will plan and implement activities in accordance with regulatory documents. The after-school care has close cooperation with the school, and the role involves working with students throughout the entire school day. You are responsible for documenting and following up on the pedagogical work.

The staff at the adapted primary school work closely with the student health services, which is an important part of our work and contributes to developing quality throughout the organization, as well as conducting joint work based on mapped and analyzed needs.

We work together to develop the after-school activities at the adapted primary school, and part of our collective mission includes health-promoting and security-building value-based work.

Qualifications

You are a licensed and qualified teacher for after-school care with a specialization.

As a teacher, you face various challenges and problems daily. It is therefore important that you enjoy working with complex issues, analyzing, breaking down problems, and proposing solutions. You have good skills in verbal and written communication as well as documentation.

We expect you to have strong empathetic abilities, allowing you to understand others' situations without taking over their emotions. You remain calm, stable, and composed in stressful situations, maintaining a realistic perspective and focusing on what matters most.

You find it easy to collaborate and build relationships with children, young people, colleagues, and parents. You listen and communicate clearly, enjoy taking initiative and starting activities, and also aim to achieve results and develop the organization.

Start date: According to agreement.

A valid extract from the criminal record register must be presented, via digital mailbox by email or to the responsible recruiter when meeting in the final stage (the extract must be valid within 1 year).
