Unika Ambass is a group home under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) Section 9§9, located in Rejmyre, Östergötland County.
At Unika Ambass, we design care based on each individual. The operation is aimed at persons who have a decision under LSS and belong to person group 1 or 3, or who have approved interventions under the Social Services Act (SoL).
About the role of Support AssistantAs a Support Assistant, you will work to provide individually adapted support to people with functional impairments, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, starting from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a Support Assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling to create security and predictability in the residents' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget.
QualificationsRequirements:
- Very good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
- Experience working in care and social services.
- Upper secondary education such as Child and Youth Program, Care and Nursing Program, or post-secondary education such as Support Pedagogue, Social Pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
Merits if you additionally have:
- Experience working within LSS.
- Experience with psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective handling.
- Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment Type: SÄVA (Fixed-term/Temporary)
Full-time Equivalent: Varying
Working Hours: Varying, longer shifts/day shifts/night shifts
Start Date: According to agreement, we view it positively if you can start immediately
Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
