Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance for individuals with disabilities who have been granted assistance under LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) or SFB (Social Services Act). We are looking for several substitutes for the summer to work with our clients. The job as a personal assistant is very varied, but no matter what the tasks entail, you will make a valuable difference to the person you work with.

Your working hours vary according to the client's needs, ranging from 24-hour shifts, day-evening shifts, awake nights, and weekend work. Send in your CV and cover letter today. Interviews are conducted continuously, and there may be an opportunity to start training now to begin as a substitute already during the spring.

Remember to mention if you have a driver's license and access to a car, which can be crucial for some clients to ensure you can get to the workplace.

If you are hired by one of our clients, you will be required to present a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) in connection with the employment. There are two different requirements depending on whether you will be working with children or adults:

When working with children

Work with children with disabilities is subject to register control requirements according to the Act (2010:479) on register control of personnel who perform certain measures for children with disabilities. An extract from the criminal record must be presented as a final step in the recruitment process before employment can become current.

When working with the elderly or adults with disabilities

Work in the home of elderly persons or adults with disabilities is subject to register control according to the Act (2026:43) on register control when working in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. The law applies from March 1, 2026. In support of the law, we as a company have a policy to request an extract from the criminal record in connection with new hires. The register control is carried out as a final step in the recruitment process and is part of our overall suitability assessment.
