We are now looking for one or more new colleagues to strengthen our groups within hydrogeology as well as permit assessment and EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) in Stockholm.
We are looking for you who want to be a long-term part of us at Bergab.
About the role
The position offers variety where you will work with hydrogeological investigations and/or permit follow-up, as well as EIA and permit processes for water activities and hazardous activities according to chapters 9 and 11 of the Environmental Code. Our projects are multifaceted and cover areas such as infrastructure projects, tunnels, rock caverns, mines, and quarries, etc. We work in all stages, from investigation, design, and environmental review to follow-up of conditions during both the construction and operation phases.
As a recent graduate or with a few years of experience, you will work with the aforementioned types of assignments. This may also include planning and conducting field tests, measuring groundwater levels, water sampling, data analysis and evaluation, as well as report writing. You will be part of a group of about fifteen people.
The work will involve both field work and office work with close collaboration with other consultants, clients, and contractors. Travel within Sweden may occur for one or a few weeks per year.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who is curious and passionate about learning new things. Your attention to detail and dedication are shown by taking responsibility for continuously delivering high-quality work. Collaboration is an essential part of our work, and you see the value of working together to achieve common goals.
In our operations, writing is an important component, meaning you enjoy writing and master the Swedish language at a high level, both in speech and writing. You are also expected to have good knowledge of English. A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Natural Sciences with a focus on hydrogeology, environment, or equivalent is required. Furthermore, it is necessary that you have a B driver's license for this position.
