Summer Temporary Positions in Support and Care in Bromölla Municipality

You can work within the elderly care sector or in our operations for people with disabilities. There are good opportunities to work as an hourly substitute during the spring as well as after the summer.

Job Responsibilities
Within Elderly Care, you can work in care and support housing, home care services, service teams, or night patrols. The work follows the Social Services Act, and the help is tailored individually to strengthen independence and participation. In all operations, you will assist elderly people with nursing care, daily tasks, activities, personal hygiene, medication, and documentation.
Within Disability Care, you can work in group homes, service apartments, short-term stays for children, or as a personal assistant. You help people of all ages with various disabilities, such as autism, physical and/or intellectual disabilities, to have a meaningful daily life. The work follows the LSS Act (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and the Social Services Act, and the support is tailored individually to strengthen independence and participation. Your tasks may include nursing care, help with cooking, cleaning, planning, leisure activities, and social interaction.
In both operations, you will work on a schedule during June, July, and August when our regular employees are on leave. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and/or night, and on-call duties may apply in some operations.
Qualifications
We prefer that you have previous experience working with people. You will receive a good introduction that gives you the right prerequisites to get started. The introduction is both digital and practical. Important to us are your attitude, your engagement, and your interpersonal skills.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the desire to work with people and a genuine interest in helping others.
- You have good interpersonal skills, are responsible, and work well in a team.
- You must be able to work consecutive weeks during the summer.
- You can communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- You have some digital knowledge, as much of the work is handled via computer or apps.
- A B-class driver's license is required in several of our operations.
We prefer that you have a completed or ongoing education within healthcare and social care, child and youth activities, or a university degree in social work or pedagogy.
