About the role:
As an Industrial Electrician at Åkers Sweden, you will work close to production with a focus on ensuring operations in a heavy industrial environment. The role involves both corrective and preventive maintenance, where you help restore and develop the facility for optimal production. You will become part of an experienced maintenance team of 22 people and report to the Maintenance Manager. The work takes place in a varied environment with machines handling large products (8–80 tons).

The position is located in Åkers Styckebruk.

Responsibilities:

• Corrective maintenance in production to ensure operations.
• Troubleshooting and actions on electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with facility maintenance and technology close to production.
• Participation in improvement work and process development.
• Collaboration with mechanics and other functions in the team.
• Daily check-ins in the morning and afternoon.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Approx. 5 years of experience as an electrician with industrial experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance work.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience in heavy maintenance or working with larger machines.

• Crane operator certificate, scissor lift training, or forklift license.
