We are currently looking for a Prototype Buyer for our client in Gothenburg.

Together with a leading company in the marine and industrial sector, we are now looking for a Junior Buyer. This assignment is part of our staffing service, which means you will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant. About the role

As a Prototype Buyer, you will work operationally with product purchasing. You will have many internal contacts as well as with suppliers around the world. The role involves significant personal responsibility and suits you if you thrive in an environment where you work close to operations, switch between tasks, and are solution-oriented.

Common tasks include:

• Operationally handling purchases and order placement
• Responsible for purchasing components for prototypes and development projects
• Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers regarding inquiries, prices, and deliveries
• Collaborate closely with product development and other internal functions
• Ensure component availability for tests and projects
• Administrative work in various business and purchasing systems

We are looking for someone who

• Has a vocational higher education (YH) or university degree in a relevant field
• Is fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Can easily learn new systems and administrative methods
• Is curious, creative, and eager to develop within purchasing

If you have a B-category driver's license, are fluent in Swedish, or have previous purchasing experience, these are strong merits for the role.
