Do you want a job where you can truly make a difference every day? We are now looking for you who want to become an important part of the daily life of a happy, active, and energetic young man with Down syndrome.

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you help him create a safe, fun, and functional daily life. Your tasks will include, among other things, support during meals and personal hygiene, communication using sign language, and coming up with fun and developmental activities. You will always work together with a colleague, and together you will create a positive and safe environment for both the client and each other.

Our client lives an active life with lots of movement, play, and outdoor activities. He enjoys long walks, playing in nature, and fast-paced days. During the summer, swimming at the beach and in the home pool are high on the favorite list. The job therefore involves spending a lot of time outdoors in all weather conditions, from sunny summer days to rainy autumn walks, giving you fresh air and daily exercise as a natural part of the job.

The work is based at the client's home just outside Norrköping. The area offers proximity to nature and great opportunities for outdoor activities, while also having good transport links from Norrköping.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

We are looking for you who are playful, patient, flexible, and confident in yourself. You need to thrive in an active daily life and have good physical fitness as the job involves a lot of movement and time outdoors. The client has a lot of energy and can sometimes be fast and impulsive, which means it is important that you are attentive, present, and always close by.

Our client is the sunshine and the main character in our team, which is why it is important that you have a genuine interest in helping and supporting him to give him the best conditions for a valuable daily life, in both good and bad times. He is a person with a lot of energy and a big heart, but like all people, he has moments of defiance and challenges, which is why it is important that you feel calm and confident in yourself.

Pedagogical knowledge and experience within care and nursing are meritorious, as is experience in sign language and low-affective interaction. If you lack experience, you will receive training and support from us along the way; the most important thing is still your personality, attitude, and ability to build a good relationship with our client.

HOURS AND PERCENTAGE OF EMPLOYMENT

The working hours are distributed over both days and evenings, as well as every other weekend. The position is 80% with the possibility of extra shifts.

SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base salary per hour + holiday pay and shift allowance. Collective agreement applies.
