Hello!

I am a 34-year-old man moving from Stockholm to central Nyköping this summer together with my relatives. I am now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for me – with a focus on night duty (being awake).

I have round-the-clock assistance and need support in my daily life. At night, the work is about providing me with security, being attentive to my needs, and being there if I wake up.

I communicate using picture and sign communication, so it is important that you are calm, receptive, and curious to learn how to understand me and my way of expressing myself.

I am looking for someone who:

• is secure, empathetic, and responsible
• is accustomed to – and enjoys – working night duty (being awake)
• is calm and attentive
• has good Swedish skills in speech and writing
• preferably has experience in personal assistance or similar work
• preferably has previous experience with epilepsy

It is also important that:

• You are a non-smoker
• You are not allergic to or afraid of dogs

About the position:

• We are primarily looking for 2–3 night assistants
• Working hours: night duty according to a rotating schedule
• The employment percentage is approximately 22–28 hours/week
• It may become relevant to have shared staffing responsibility together with colleagues

Start will take place in connection with my move to Nyköping, sometime between mid-July and the end of July. It is an advantage if you have the opportunity to start the introduction in Stockholm before then.
