Do you want to work with modern, business-critical infrastructure where networking, Linux, automation, and advanced troubleshooting are at the center? NetNordic is now looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who wants to work with modern infrastructure, advanced troubleshooting, and technical improvements together with colleagues who are passionate about operations, automation, and stable solutions that truly make a difference. Here you will become part of a technically strong environment where curiosity, responsibility, and problem-solving are highly valued.
Your responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer at NetNordic, you will have a central role in ensuring, developing, and optimizing the internal operations environment. You will work closely with data center platforms, server environments, network infrastructure, and internal business teams. The role combines operational operations with technical development. This means that you work practically with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management, while also contributing to improvements, standardization, and automation of environments and workflows. Examples of responsibilities: • Operations and monitoring of data center, server, and network infrastructure • Troubleshooting in complex and business-critical operational environments • Work with Linux-based environments and system-level problem solving • Work with virtualization technologies such as Nutanix and VMware • Implementation and further development of internal network and data center solutions • Alarm analysis, capacity management, and incident management • Automation and scripting with tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible • Development of processes, routines, and operational standards • Participation in technical discussions related to design, architecture, and improvement work You will have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, develop in an advanced IT environment, and work together with colleagues who have high technical competence and a strong commitment to robust, future-proof solutions.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and who want to work with stability, availability, and the development of critical infrastructure. You have experience with, or a relevant educational background in, networking, infrastructure, IT security, system operations, or a similar field. It is important that you have a good understanding of networking and that you have worked with, or have good knowledge of, Linux. You do not need to know everything from the start, but you need to have the right technical foundation, the willingness to learn, and the ability to take responsibility in an environment where quality and precision are important. The role may suit you if you: • Have a few years of experience in operations, networking, servers, infrastructure, or similar • Are a recent graduate or will graduate this summer in networking, IT security, system operations, or a related education • Have a good understanding of networking and network-adjacent infrastructure • Have experience with, or good knowledge of, Linux • Have an interest in data centers, virtualization, automation, and technical troubleshooting • Thrive in complex technical environments and enjoy solving problems in depth • Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English • Are available to participate in on-call duties or standby as needed It is an advantage if you also have experience with virtualization, such as Nutanix or VMware, and if you have worked with automation, scripting, or tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible. Knowledge in load balancing, database management, or Nutanix Prism is also positive. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and curious. You enjoy collaborating, are happy to share knowledge, and have a desire to develop technically. You need to be confident in taking initiative, but also appreciate working together with others in a team where people help each other and learn from one another.
