Eccera is now looking for an experienced and engaged software developer who wants to take overall technical responsibility and assume the role of Tech Lead in the development of tactical and security-critical systems. Our client is a product company focused on self-developed solutions for societal-critical operations, where availability, security, and quality are crucial throughout the entire product lifecycle.

In this role, you combine your broad technical competence with the ability to lead, coach, and drive a small development team forward. You work closely with product managers and other stakeholders regarding requirements, technical solutions, and priorities, with a clear focus on product development rather than project deliveries. The work takes place primarily on-site in northern Stockholm. You and your team are responsible for technical decisions, system architecture, code quality, and creating sustainable, efficient, and long-term development work.

The role involves both strategic responsibility and operational participation in development.

This is a direct hire, meaning you will be employed directly by our client.

About the Role

You will work on the development of security-critical systems where availability, robustness, and information security are crucial. The solutions are used in societal-critical environments and form part of the support for total defense, which implies high demands on quality, security, and longevity. This is not about generic cloud services or theoretical security models, but about practical security in complex, sometimes isolated (air-gapped) environments, where the system's functionality in live situations is decisive.

• Drive improvements in development processes, tools, and methods

Requirements

Suitable candidates have:

• Background from product companies or internal corporate system development
• Basic understanding of how application, platform, network, and operations interact (Server and platform layer, Network layer, and Application layer – runtime, integrations, and communication)
• Broad, solid, and senior experience – with a holistic perspective on systems and products
• Technical leadership with the ability to see and take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle
• Thrives in small teams (approx. 3–6 people) and values a close, social, and collaboration-oriented work environment
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and the possibility to undergo a security clearance

Meritorious experience:

• HA systems and environments with geo-separation, redundancy, load balancing, and replication
• Security systems, certificates, PKI, as well as authentication and authorization solutions
• Platforms and infrastructure to take systems from development and testing to operation and maintenance
• Air-gapped on-premise solutions and integration of third-party services and own subsystems in complex IT environments
