About the position
At Olivia, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant at approximately 40% with our client in Åkersberga. The client is a 12-year-old boy with autism who needs support from a personal assistant in his daily life. He is non-verbal and uses picture support as a communication aid.
The working hours are scheduled as follows:
Weekdays 16:45–20:00
Weekends 10:00–20:00
The duties are as follows:
Supervision and support with daily activities
Assist with routines, e.g., dressing and undressing
Low-arousal approach when dealing with challenging behavior

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person who enjoys working with people and can put others' needs at the center. As a person, you are calm, pedagogical, attentive, and used to following routines. We would like you to have prior experience of autism and low-arousal approaches.

Start date: May 21st. Interviews are held continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.
Things to consider before applying:
A prerequisite for starting an employment at Olivia is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.
Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.
To work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register control will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
