About the role
Perido is looking for a Transport Coordinator for our client, a large and well-known company in the automotive industry. The position is located in Gothenburg, where the work takes place on-site at the office.
Your responsibilities
As a Transport Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring an efficient transport flow by daily monitoring and handling deviations. You will book and coordinate transports, receive and act on urgent transport needs, and ensure that all relevant systems and transport documents are correctly updated. The role also involves close collaboration with carriers, internal receivers, and other stakeholders.
Tasks
- Secure and book vessel capacity
- Issue and/or handle transport documents
- Book transports and follow up with carriers
- Update systems with relevant data
- Identify and act on deviations in the material delivery chain
- Analyze, mitigate, and inform receivers about the impact on deliveries
- Act as the central contact point for operational questions and deviations
- Participate in and/or lead meetings regarding operational performance with receivers and carriers
- Represent the department in internal and external meetings
- Drive continuous improvements and eliminate waste in processes

Qualifications:
- Some years of experience within logistics
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or relevant vocational education
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
- Experience in transport document administration
- Good communication skills and habit of collaborating with different stakeholders
Scope and start date
Full-time, consultancy assignment until 2026-12-31. Start 2026-05-25.
