We are now looking for several temporary support assistants (nursing assistants/social pedagogues) at Skarpnäcksgården House F to fill out our operations.

At Nytida, we are constantly developing. Here, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.

Your Role

As a support assistant, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and rich in content. You support and guide with personal care such as showering, meals, medication management, cleaning of client rooms and common areas, social contacts, transport to and from medical appointments, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

About Skarpnäcksgården House F

Skarpnäcksgården is located peacefully within walking distance from Skarpnäck subway station. The individual lives in a single room of 15 to 20 square meters with a private toilet. The room is simply furnished. The shower is shared with other residents, and there is access to a laundry room. The individual has access to common areas for meals, socializing, a TV room, and an outdoor area.

Shops and other services are available in Skarpnäck Center. A five-minute walk away is Rättarstugan, a free and shared café for all of Skarpnäcksgården's clients, open every weekday.

Target Group

House F is aimed at adults aged 18 and over, regardless of gender. We address individuals with:

  • Ongoing substance abuse
  • Dependency on drugs or alcohol
  • Housing instability issues
  • Mental health challenges

Work Approach

We work based on the assignments we receive and the individual's needs. The individual and the commissioning party are involved throughout the entire process. This can involve providing support in various ways, for example by:

  • Establishing or maintaining contact with healthcare and/or psychiatry
  • Providing support regarding medication treatment
  • Creating a weekly schedule for personal hygiene, washing, and cleaning
  • Supporting and helping the individual with finances
  • Motivating participation in activities that feel meaningful
  • Managing wounds or other specific care needs

We adapt our work based on the target group and the individual.

Group Leaders: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a career opportunity for you.

Your Experience and Knowledge

We assume that you, applying to us:

  • Have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people
  • Are responsible and possess personal maturity
  • Enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues

You have at least a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have studied further as a social pedagogue or treatment assistant, and if you have experience working with the target group. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
