Grebbestadskolan is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 190 students. Our common approach is that all students should succeed and that every student's inherent potential is developed. We strive to create pedagogical accessibility by continuously adapting the didactic, spatial, and social environment to find a functional learning environment where learning works and the student develops. Through the teacher's conscious approach, students are motivated to take active responsibility for their own and others' learning. Learning through play is an integral part of all teaching in the after-school care program.

Responsibilities

The position includes a shared pedagogical operational responsibility based on the teaching requirements of the after-school care program. You can work and develop in teams with us. The work requires the ability to vary and inspire teaching within the framework of the curriculum's goals. You create a safe and professional relationship in interactions with students and in collaboration with parents.

The position also includes tasks during school hours, adapted to the applicant's knowledge in relation to the school's and students' needs. This may involve working closely with a class teacher or teaching a specific subject.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

We are looking for you with teacher education and certification as an after-school care teacher. You need to have experience and knowledge of the primary school organization and regulatory documents. Good digital competence is a bonus, as we handle information and documentation, and view digital learning as a natural part of our operations. Experience and education regarding students in need of special support are also merits, as is knowledge regarding diabetes.

The work requires organizational skills, self-responsibility, and flexibility. You have experience leading groups of children in learning situations. We place great emphasis on your view of core values and knowledge aligning with the school's holistic philosophy, and how this influences your approach.

We Offer

A permanent position at 100% starting August 10, 2026.

The permanent position is only available if valid certification is presented.

In the absence of qualified applicants, it may become relevant to hire someone as an uncertified teacher on a temporary basis according to the Education Act.
