Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. I am looking for an engaged and responsible person who wants to become an important part of my assistant team!

I am an active 26-year-old woman with a muscle disease (Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 3). I have no cognitive difficulties and live an independent life with my fiancé in central Stockholm.

The job involves supporting me in my daily life – both at home, at work, and during leisure activities such as travel and social events. As my assistant, you will be an enabler, not a caregiver. You help ensure that daily life runs smoothly while contributing to a safe and pleasant environment.

About the role:

This is not a traditional assistant job where you simply follow a list of tasks. It is a role where you become a natural part of daily life and a partner in making everything work.

You will:

• Support with daily routines such as personal care, dressing, and household chores
• Help with work and other activities outside the home
• Handle practical tasks such as transfers, simple cooking, and household administration
• Be adaptable to a daily life that is sometimes calm and sometimes eventful
• Help with simple hair styling (e.g., curling hair)
• Participate in travels or spontaneous activities

• Are self-reliant and meticulous but sensitive – you take your own initiatives and responsibility but ask when you are unsure
• Have a sense of when to stay in the background and when to act
• Handle the transition between calm and more intense days
• Are meticulous, flexible, and have a positive attitude towards life
• Are a team player who steps up when needed and contributes to a safe and pleasant work climate

Requirements for the position:

• Female, approx. 20–40 years old
• Good Swedish or English language skills
• Good physical strength, as manual transfers are performed using well-developed transfer techniques
• Flexible and available, preferably someone who can step in extra if needed
• Interest in hair care and styling, as you will help me with simple daily styling such as curling hair
• Not afraid of dogs or allergic, as I have a puppy
• Previous experience as a personal assistant is meritorious but not required

About the job:

• Employment percentage: approx. 80%
• Start date: Immediately or by agreement
• Working hours: Mixed day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend. Shifts are scheduled for 15 hours and 8 hours respectively.
