In the role of Contracting Engineer, you will have significant responsibility and become part of an organization with a positive atmosphere that supports each other in daily work.

About the role

As a Contracting Engineer with us, you are a key person with solid competence in asphalt/construction technology and contracting law. In this role, you will work in a small but tightly knit team and operate across the entire Peab Asphalt South Region. You will be involved in the early stages of our business to ensure we deliver projects with high quality and profitability.

You will collaborate closely with site managers and foremen in production, acting as an expert throughout the tender process. You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, calculating costs, preparing tender proposals, and follow-up. You play a central role in the calculation work involving planning, purchasing, and contract administration, and you are also involved in supporting production with our digital tools when needed.

As a Contracting Engineer, you must be able to work independently, develop solutions, and handle varied tasks.

Who are you?

Aside from having a relevant academic education in engineering and law or equivalent experience, we are looking for someone who is engaged, unpretentious, and driven. You work in a structured manner and are meticulous. We prefer that you have a solid background in the asphalt or construction industry. A requirement is that you have good knowledge of AMA Construction and contracting law.
