Teacher Grades 4-6

Do you want to help shape the future of education, where every student has the best possible conditions for success? We are looking for an engaged primary school teacher who wants to play a key role in further developing an inclusive, safe, and health-promoting learning environment. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, think innovatively, and help create long-term changes in the school's pedagogical work.

About Us

Ebba Petterssons Privatskola is a non-profit foundation where 100% of the school funding goes directly to operations. We are an F-9 school with approximately 650 students and a long tradition as one of Gothenburg's oldest primary schools. The school is characterized by our core values: safety, pride, engagement, development, and joy.

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking school where student needs are always at the center. We strive to create teaching and school environments where all students feel seen, included, and motivated to reach their full potential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a certified primary school teacher with experience working in grades 4-6.
  • Has broad subject qualifications that can be combined with other teachers in the grade level. We operate with three teachers per two classes, plus teachers for practical-aesthetic subjects.
  • Is confident in your leadership role and skilled at building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
  • Is reflective, innovative, and wants to contribute to the long-term development of the school's pedagogical work.
  • Has the courage to question and improve routines and working methods to create an even more inclusive and effective learning environment.
  • Thrives working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

We offer:

  • The opportunity to influence and develop a cutting-edge school.
  • An engaged and supportive work team focused on the best interests of the student.
  • Professional development and the opportunity to participate in the school's long-term development work.
  • A work environment where initiatives and ideas are valued and implemented.

The position is a permanent employment covering 80-100% with a start date in August 2026. We will conduct interviews on a rolling basis.

The position is a probationary period of 6 months.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Reach out to the recruiting manager, Johanna Karlsson, at 031-894510 or [email protected].

Union representatives:

We look forward to receiving your application!
