About the role

Here, you will work daytime hours in a safe and stable work environment in a modern production kitchen. You will have the opportunity to work broadly – from cold dishes to hot cooking – and help create flavorful experiences for our guests. There is also room for creativity and involvement in the planning and execution of events, where we adapt menus and setups according to customer requests.

About the workplace

Magnetiten is our production kitchen and restaurant above ground. From here, we produce food for Restaurant 1365 (underground) as well as the Mine Kitchen in Svappavaara. We are a tight-knit team of 12 people who deliver approximately 500 lunches and dinners daily. In addition, we offer catering, meal boxes, and tailored event solutions. The kitchen is modern and serves as the hub for deliveries to our warming kitchens in Kiruna and Svappavaara – an important part of our mission.

Your role as a chef with us

As a chef at Sodexo, you are:

You will work with:

• Preparing both cold and hot dishes (salads, soups, fish, meat, vegetarian options, desserts)
• Planning and producing high-quality meals
• Ensuring hygiene and quality standards
• Contributing to catering and events

• Is a trained chef with experience
• Has a genuine interest in food and is creative in the kitchen
• Is self-motivated but thrives in a team
