Aurora Village is a new way of thinking about housing in large-scale projects. Driven by Strawberry Living in partnership with Adapteo for SSAB in Luleå, the concept is built on a simple idea: functionality is not enough. Aurora Village sets a new standard for how the workforce of the future lives while building the future.
Aurora Village is looking for a strong, reliable Lead Cook to join one of the most exciting hospitality projects in Northern Sweden.
Operated in partnership with Strawberry under the new Strawberry Living brand, Aurora Village is a first-of-its-kind property built around high-volume hospitality done the right way. Our goal is simple: serve fresh, flavorful, efficiently executed food while enjoying what we do. At peak season, our operation will serve up to 2,000 guests per day.
We are looking for someone who works well under pressure, takes pride in consistency, and can help lead a team through busy services while maintaining a positive kitchen culture.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are hardworking, organized, and dependable. You enjoy being part of a fast-moving kitchen and understand the importance of teamwork, communication, and setting the pace during service.
You should have experience with:
- High-volume cooking and prep
- Leading stations and supporting team members during service
- Maintaining consistency and quality under pressure
- Large batch cooking and production
- Food safety and kitchen organization
- Training or helping less experienced cooks
- Keeping a clean and efficient work environment
Experience from hotels, catering, staff dining, resorts, production kitchens, or large restaurants is highly valued.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily operations
- Leading stations during prep and service
- Assisting with production for large-volume meal periods
- Helping maintain organization, cleanliness, and food quality standards
- Supporting and motivating kitchen team members
- Ensuring smooth service during busy periods
- Assisting with menu execution and daily preparation
