Kvikkjokk is located deep within the Lapland mountain wilderness, at the end of the road. Those who seek the beauty of nature should visit Kvikkjokk. Adjacent to Kvikkjokk are the two large national parks, Padjelanta and Sarek, which together with Stora Sjöfallet form the World Heritage Site Laponia, established by UNESCO in 1995.

We offer 60 beds in two- and multi-bed rooms across two buildings. The timbered main building from 1928 features cozy rooms and a lounge with views of the Sarek mountains. In addition to our restaurant, we also offer a café, a bar, and a small shop.

Kvikkjokk is a small village, and it is 12 miles (approx. 20 km) to Jokkmokk, the nearest larger town. Our guests seek nature experiences, and many embark on both short and long hikes.

We are looking for someone who wants to join our team, manage the recycling center, assist at the counter, and help with cleaning – essentially, wherever there is a need.

A driver's license is required.

The position is available from mid-July to the end of September 2026.

We are looking for a cheerful person who can juggle multiple tasks, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

Working at a mountain station means that staff live, eat, and work together for several months. Accommodation is included, and meal deductions are applied.

We operate under a collective agreement between HRF and VISITA.
