Kvikkjokk is located deep within the Lapland mountain landscape, at the end of the road. Those who seek the beauty of nature should visit Kvikkjokk. Adjacent to the village lie the two large national parks, Padjelanta and Sarek, which together with Stora Sjöfallet form the World Heritage Site Laponia, established by UNESCO in 1995.

We offer 50 beds in single and multi-bed rooms spread across two buildings. The timbered main building from 1928 features cozy rooms and common areas with views of the Sarek mountains. In addition to our restaurant, we offer a café, a bar, and a small shop.

Kvikkjokk is a small village located 12 miles from Jokkmokk, the nearest larger community. Our guests seek nature experiences, and many embark on both short and long hikes.

We are currently looking for a receptionist for the summer season, until the end of September.

Your responsibilities include standard reception duties such as check-in and check-out, telephone service, email handling, bookings, guest information, and cash handling. You will also manage our small shop with a mixed assortment of goods.

We are looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, and able to juggle multiple tasks. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong willingness to serve, and are accustomed to taking responsibility. You have a genuine interest in quality and service with "the extra touch," always keeping the guest in focus. You work well both independently and in a team. Knowledge of booking and cash register systems is valued; we use HotSoft and Trivec. Good spoken and written skills in Swedish and English are required, while knowledge of additional languages is a plus. We are a small team that supports each other.

Working at a mountain station means that staff live, work, and socialize together during the employment period. Accommodation is included, and a meal deduction is made during the work period.

We operate under a collective agreement between HRF and VISITA.
