A day at MAX

As a restaurant assistant, your tasks are varied. You serve our guests and ensure the restaurant is tidy and clean, work in the kitchen where you prepare burgers, smoothies, and fry potatoes, among other things. You are responsible for the cash register, taking orders and ensuring guests receive the correct items, all done together with your colleagues.

The work involves varying hours on weekdays, evenings, nights, and weekends. Under the supervision of the restaurant manager or an experienced colleague, you will learn the job step by step at the different stations as well as through our digital training. Almost all of our managers started in this role!

How does the process work?

We have chosen to eliminate CVs and cover letters for our restaurant staff positions. Instead of sending a CV and cover letter, you answer a number of selection questions and take a Service Test. We ask you to answer the selection questions in detail.

After you have submitted your application, you will receive a test via email. This is a Service Test, which involves answering how you would act in a situation that may arise in daily work at MAX. Through the test, you as a candidate get a taste of what it is like to work at MAX. The test takes a maximum of 15 minutes. After you have completed the test, we review your application and get back to you as soon as possible. If you move forward in the process, you will receive an invitation to an interview; if not, we will get back to you via email. We review applications continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Please note that the Service Test is a mandatory step in our recruitment process; therefore, we do not proceed with candidates who do not complete the Service Test.
