Description
As the Kitchen Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen:
- You lead the work, plan menus, and are responsible for purchasing while ensuring high quality and good food safety.
- You work operationally together with the dietitian and the diet team, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Your task is to plan, lead, and coordinate the daily operations in the kitchen and ensure that the meal service is conducted according to the municipality's goals, guidelines, and decisions.
- You strive for high quality, good service, and a positive dining experience, and work to develop and improve routines, working methods, and processes within the operation.
- Participate actively in the daily production of meals.
Meal Planning and Production
Your duties include:
- Planning and developing menus based on nutritional recommendations, budget, and the needs of the operation.
- Ensuring that special diets and adapted meals are handled correctly.
- Following developments in the meal sector and contributing to sustainable and modern meal solutions.
- Ensuring that meals are produced and served with high quality.
Purchasing and Economy
- Responsible for ordering food, consumables, and other materials.
- Work actively to reduce food waste and optimize resource usage.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education within the restaurant, large kitchen, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
- Experience working in a kitchen or meal service.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP.
- Good administrative skills and experience in planning and ordering.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
- Category B driver's license.
Merits:

- Knowledge of special diets, nutrition, and sustainable meal production.

Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
Duration: Permanent.
