Aurora Village is looking for a strong, hands-on Sous Chef to join one of the most exciting hospitality projects in Northern Sweden. Operated in partnership with Strawberry under the new Strawberry Living brand, Aurora Village is a first-of-its-kind property. We will serve large numbers of guests where the goal is simple: serve fresh, flavorful, and efficiently executed food while enjoying doing it. At its peak, our operation will serve up to 2,000 guests per day.

We are looking for a Sous Chef who thrives in organized chaos, leads from the front, and understands how to balance quality, speed, structure, and team culture.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are dependable, hardworking, and calm under pressure. You understand that leadership in the kitchen means setting standards, staying organized, and keeping the team moving together.

You should have experience with:

  • Leading kitchen teams in high-volume environments
  • Ordering and inventory management
  • Writing schedules and managing labor efficiently
  • Maintaining consistency and quality during prep & service
  • Training and motivating staff
  • Food safety and kitchen organization
  • Large batch cooking and production planning

Experience from hotels, staff dining, catering, large restaurants, resorts, or production kitchens is highly valued.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Supporting the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Leading service and production teams
  • Managing prep, ordering, and inventory control
  • Assisting with scheduling and staffing
  • Maintaining food quality and standards
  • Helping develop rotating menus and seasonal offerings
  • Ensuring smooth service
