We at Vindex are now looking for a Junior Payroll Specialist for a consultancy assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm.

About the role

In the role of Payroll Specialist, you contribute to ensuring a correct and efficient payroll process, while simultaneously supporting the business with various HR-related matters.

Between payroll periods, you work broadly with payroll and HR administration, including recruitment processes and other administrative tasks, acting as a support for both employees and managers. This role is suitable for you who thrive in a varied daily routine where you combine HR and payroll, administration, service, and collaboration.

Location: Stockholm area, on-site at the office.

Main responsibilities

• Process timesheets, expense reports, reimbursements, and benefits
• Work with ongoing payroll runs as well as ongoing payroll and HR administration, including documentation
• Handle occupational pensions, employer certificates, insurances, and other pension-related matters
• Act as a support for employees and managers regarding questions related to payroll, HR, and collective agreements
• Work with statistics and reporting
• Participate in onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth start and end for employees, and take part in recruitment processes
• Handle contacts with authorities in connection with payroll and HR administration
• Support with general office administration and ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education within payroll
• You have one to two years of experience with payroll as your main task
• Good system proficiency and an interest in systems and digital working methods
• You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in payroll management for both salaried employees and unionized staff, preferably with experience of various collective agreements
• Previous experience in HR work
