We are looking for a reliable and engaged contact person for a 17-year-old girl who arrived in Sweden from Ukraine a few years ago. The girl is placed in foster care and needs a stable adult contact who can offer support, motivation, and guidance in everyday life.

The role focuses primarily on supporting her with school attendance, motivation, and social development, as she has a high rate of school absenteeism. It is important that you are relationship-building, patient, and able to motivate young people in a calm and respectful manner.

The girl speaks limited Swedish, so knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian is a merit.

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, stable, and responsible
Has a genuine commitment to young people
Can work in a motivating and relationship-building manner
Is patient and has good collaboration skills
Has experience working with young people or social issues (preferred)
Has knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian (merit)

About the role:

Approximately 5 hours per week
Hourly wage and vacation pay are provided
Flexibility is important as meetings mainly take place after school hours and occasionally during weekends
