About the role
As a System Technician at Växjö Municipality, you will become part of the IT and Digitalization Department, specifically the Operations and System Technology group. This group is responsible for the operation, development, and management of the municipality's technical infrastructure and business systems.

You will primarily work with business systems in a complex and socially critical environment where high availability, stability, and security are crucial. The role involves both daily operations and troubleshooting, as well as improvement work and further development of technical solutions and working methods.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work broadly within system technology alongside knowledgeable colleagues in an environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

Examples of tasks:

• Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of business systems.
• Management of Windows Server environments.
• Work with SQL and database management.
• Incident management and problem-solving in complex environments.
• Collaboration with support technicians, developers, architects, and business units.
• Contribute to improvements in technology, processes, and working methods.

We are looking for you who
Have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy understanding how things work at a deep level. You thrive on troubleshooting, analyzing, and solving problems, even when the pace is fast and the systems are mission-critical.

You do not need to be a specialist or senior expert in all areas. For Växjö Municipality, drive, curiosity, and the right attitude are at least as important as long experience. Qualifications
We are looking for you who have experience in system technology or equivalent competence through work and/or education.

We would like you to have knowledge in:

• Windows Server.
• SQL/databases.
• Troubleshooting in IT environments.
• Infrastructure and server environments.

It is an advantage if you also have experience with:

• IIS.
• Automation and scripting.
• Operations in larger or complex IT environments.
• Microsoft-based infrastructures.

You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
