Nurse for the Infectious Diseases Clinic, Region Kronoberg
At Region Kronoberg, we are 6,500 people working for the benefit of the residents of Kronoberg every day! We are responsible for healthcare, public transport, regional development, and culture in the county. Our goal is for our employees to thrive, grow in their professional roles, and be able to influence their daily work.
The Infectious Diseases Clinic is a small clinic with short decision-making paths and great opportunities for professional development. We have a county-wide operation within infectious disease care. The clinic includes a care ward and an outpatient clinic with services including needle exchange and extensive consultation services in Växjö and Ljungby. Approximately 50 employees work at the clinic.
As a nurse with us at the infectious diseases ward, you will have a varied job and become an important part of the team surrounding the patient. The work group includes experienced colleagues, and our different professional categories work closely together, creating security, good support, and a pleasant work climate.
There are approximately 30 employees on the ward, and we collaborate closely with the outpatient clinic. We handle a broad patient group with high patient turnover, which means a large patient flow. The pace can vary, but we often work at a high tempo as we care for acutely ill patients. Competence development is important to us, and through regular internal training sessions held by our doctors, you will continuously develop and learn new things.
We are two managers working in a shared leadership model, meaning we are always available to our employees. By sharing responsibility, we ensure that at least one of us is always on-site to quickly provide support and guidance. Our office is close to the ward, giving us a natural presence and allowing us to be readily available in daily work. This enables us to be involved in operations and make quick decisions when needed.
