Arena Matchning AB is now looking for a career consultant for Rusta och Matcha 2 – Summer Temporary Positions

As a career consultant, you will carry out various interventions at both individual and group levels. Your tasks include mapping resources, assisting with application documents, giving lectures, arranging internships, and conducting coaching conversations. You will have the opportunity to be creative and adapt your work to the individual, making the job both fun and fast-paced. You will also have close contact with employers and companies, so it is an advantage if you have good knowledge of the local labor market.

Are you good at listening, reading between the lines, and understanding what solutions are possible for your participants in their current situation? The role of career consultant requires a combination of structured and careful administrative work, the ability to identify your participants' opportunities to enter the labor market, and finding suitable internship placements. We are looking for temporary staff in Mölndal, Mölnlycke, Lerum, and Alingsås. Please state in your application which location you are interested in.

Main responsibilities:

• Conduct individual meetings to support and help candidates in their unique processes.
• Plan and conduct seminars on how the labor market works and which tools provide effective job searching.
• Create job search plans for participants.
• Continuous processing of employer contacts to create good matches.

To work with the Rusta & Matcha 2 service, you must meet one of the following requirements (attach a certificate proving the following requirements in your application):

Option 1

Education: University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the old system).

Work experience: At least two (2) years of work experience equivalent to full-time employment. Part-time work may also be approved if the combined working hours correspond to full-time over two (2) years.

Option 2

Education: At least one (1) year of full-time post-secondary studies with at least a passing grade.

Work experience: At least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time employment in one or more of the following occupations or tasks:

• Team leadership with personnel responsibility.
• Recruitment.
• Transition work for job seekers.
• Study and career guidance.
• Processing of personnel matters (not solely personnel administration).
• Work with working life and labor market issues.
• Work with social and group psychology.
• Career guidance.

Part-time work may also be approved if the combined working hours correspond to full-time over three (3) years.

Previous experience with Rusta och Matcha is meritorious.
