We are looking for summer substitutes in Angered

We are now looking for summer substitutes for a hourly position as a personal assistant for a man living in Angered. The position is a summer substitute role with the possibility of extension after the summer for the right person.

We would prefer that you can start your hourly employment immediately, so that you get a safe introduction and have time to get into the work before the summer period.

About the customer

The customer is a cheerful boy who is active and likes to come up with things. He attends day activities during the week, and he does not have his personal assistant there. He likes music, baking, and cooking together with his assistant. He loves taking the bus and tram, and swims gladly once a week (it is not relevant for you to be with him in the pool at the beginning). He has a mental disability, which includes Autism. This means that as an assistant, you need to work with clear pedagogy and follow an implementation plan where it is described in detail how the assistants should work. Images and signs are also used as support.

Qualifications and wishes

We are now looking for an assistant who has experience working with people with mental disabilities such as Autism. Preferably someone who likes to be outdoors and move around/come up with things themselves, and who has also worked with clear pedagogy. It is meritorious if you have experience in personal assistance, but it is not a must; personal suitability weighs heavier. Very meritorious if you have experience with autism and working with signs as support.

About the job

The position is an hourly employment over the summer with work mainly during evening and night shifts (including waiting time).

• During weekdays, the shifts are scheduled around 15:40–08:10.
• During weekends, the work shifts are usually designed as 24-hour shifts from 11:00–11:00, although the times may vary slightly.

In the morning, the user travels with transport service to their day activity.
