At Karolinska Institutet in Solna, we operate Nordrest, which runs two restaurants, three cafés, and provides catering across the entire Campus Solna area, as well as serving food for conferences at Aula Medica, Bio Medicum, and Nobel Forum.

We are now looking for an experienced chef/sommelier who wants to be part of our dedicated team!

Do you have a passion for food, an eye for quality, and at least five years of kitchen experience?

Who is our new dream colleague?

You are a cheerful character with experience in the culinary and service professions, accustomed to creating good relationships and contacts with guests. As a person, you are responsible, ambitious, and respectful towards your surroundings.

We want you to have:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a chef/sommelier

  • You are structured, meticulous, and creative in the kitchen

  • You handle a high pace without compromising on quality

  • You have no problem working early mornings & evenings/weekends when needed

  • You are a team player who thrives in an open and cooperative team

  • Previous work experience as a chef/sommelier

  • Experience with menu planning and ordering supplies

  • A solid interest, and preferably knowledge and experience in sustainability work, as the restaurant is both environmentally and quality certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
