Do you want to work in a business-oriented role where you are responsible for the entire sales process, while simultaneously helping customers implement smart system solutions?
We are now looking for an Account Manager with a technical focus to join Fackhandelsdata, an established IT company with over 40 years of industry experience. The company offers complete system solutions within retail, ranging from cash register management to accounting. With upcoming legal requirements for cash registers, demand for the company's products is expected to increase in 2026, creating good business opportunities ahead. The company has offices in several locations in Sweden, including Knivsta and Gränna.
About the role
As an Account Manager with a technical focus, you drive the entire business, from initial contact to long-term customer relationships. You also play a key role in the customer's onboarding journey, helping them get started with the system and providing support with simpler installations.
You work with both new customer acquisition and upselling, guiding customers through a sales process that often spans 1–4 months. The role requires patience, structure, and the ability to manage multiple parallel deals.
You independently drive customer dialogues, conduct product demonstrations, and work closely with decision-makers within the retail sector. You follow an existing sales process but have the freedom to influence and build your own working style.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and new customer acquisition within B2B.
- Develop and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Conduct customer meetings, both digitally and in person.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
- Drive deals from needs analysis to closing.
- Provide basic technical support.
- Familiarize yourself with the systems and be able to guide customers through simpler installations (introduction and training are provided).
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Experience driving entire sales processes independently.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.
- Valid driver's license (Category B) and access to your own car.
- Good computer skills.
Merits
- Experience in B2C sales.
- Experience from retail, trade, or cash register systems.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance.
- Interest in IT and technology.
- Experience with Linux and Windows.
