About Us
The Medicine Clinic is the largest clinic at Nyköping Hospital, with approximately 200 employees distributed across six units, each with its own unit manager. We have operations within nephrology, cardiology, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, neurology, and general internal medicine, including emergency care at the emergency department and acute care ward. In addition, we have two inpatient wards, including MIMA, as well as a medical investigation and treatment department located at our outpatient clinic. The administrative unit consists of a large group of secretaries working with both outpatient and inpatient care.
Your Responsibilities
As a medical secretary with us, you have an important and central role in the operations. We can offer a varied job with great opportunities for personal development. You will work with common tasks for a secretary; patient documentation, case management via 1177, TeleQ, internal referrals, etc. We apply a flexible working method where remote work may occur by agreement.
Scope of Responsibility:
- Contact secretary in a specialist team (booking, scheduling, team meetings)
- Object specialist for Cosmic and ITA.
- Central role in the implementation of speech recognition
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are trained as a medical secretary or equivalent.
- Have experience with Cosmic and other IT systems relevant to Region Sörmland.
- Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English.
- Have good IT skills, primarily Windows and Office 365.
Personal Qualities
- Positive basic attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
- Can take initiative.
- Interest in digital development.
- Good pedagogical skills in mentoring others.

Employment Type
Permanent position, full-time, daytime hours with some weekend duties.
