Our client is looking for a Production Engineer for a consultancy assignment in Linköping. Here you will play a central role in developing and optimizing production processes, with a balanced mix of practical work on the production floor and more analytical work in preparation and process planning.

• Drive improvement work on equipment and processes with a focus on efficiency and quality

• Work with preparation and process planning to ensure producibility

• Implement product changes and create/update work instructions

• Specify requirements for tools and fixtures

• Support the startup of new equipment

• Provide technical support to assembly personnel in their daily work

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

• Optimized production processes with improved quality

• Updated and accurate production documentation

• Ensured producibility during changes

• Implemented improvement measures according to Lean principles

• Relevant academic education in Production Engineering or equivalent experience

• At least 3 years of experience from manufacturing industry

• Experience in preparation, process planning, or similar production engineering tasks

• Experience in improvement work and optimization of production flows

• Experience with Lean Production

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)

• Experience working with complex products

• Knowledge of composite technology

• Experience with automation

• Structured and solution-oriented

• Communicative and team-oriented

• Self-motivated with the ability to drive work forward

• Practical mindset with analytical depth
