About me and the assignment: I am a 57-year-old man who loves discovering the world from my perspective. My daily life is varied and shaped by my activities at the day center and how I feel on any given day. Since I do not have a verbal language, your ability to be sensitive and read my signals is absolutely crucial.

As my assistant, you will become an important part of my life. You support me with everything from basic needs and transfers to adding extra value to life. We strive to build a friendship, but you always maintain a professional attitude where my integrity and needs are at the center.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who is confident, cheerful, and genuinely engaged with other people. For us to get along well, we would like you to:

Be sensitive and perceptive: You have the ability to understand needs that are not expressed in words.

Have good physical fitness: The work involves some transfers (lifting/support).

Be communicative: You speak fluent Swedish. If you also speak Spanish, that is a big plus!

Be a non-smoker: I live in a tobacco-free environment.

Tolerate dogs: My family members have dogs that often visit.

We prefer applicants who are 25 years or older. Previous experience in care and social services is advantageous, but your personal suitability and the chemistry between us are the most important factors.

Working hours and scope: I need assistance 24 hours a day. The position is primarily a summer substitute role (June–August), but for the right person, there are very good opportunities for continuation with a scheduled employment. Shifts vary between day, evening, and awake night (weekdays and weekends). We are open to dialogue regarding how much or little you wish to work.

Introduction and training in my routines are of course included.
