Dinglegymnasiet is currently looking for a teacher specializing in Horticulture. At Dinglegymnasiet, we offer the Natural Resources Program with specializations in Horticulture, Horse and Animal Care (with a profile in dogs or animal healthcare). The school also offers the International Management (IM) program. Together with Nuntorpsgymnasiet, Naturbruk Väst comprises two schools that are securely rooted in the long-standing tradition of natural resource education that has always characterized the municipalities where the schools are located.

Dinglegymnasiet is hiring!

We are now looking for you who can teach both practically and theoretically in the subjects of Horticultural Design, Maintenance of Outdoor Environments, and Machinery and Technical Equipment within Natural Resources.

As a teacher, you are well-versed in the upper secondary school curriculum and subject plans, and you are a skilled pedagogue. You plan and structure your work independently. You are creative and open to new ideas and ways of thinking, and you have an easy time communicating and building relationships with both students and other adults. You are confident and secure in your leadership within the classroom.

You take initiative and are passionate about school development issues – the prospect of building up and creating something new appeals to you. You do not shy away from challenges but instead see them as opportunities to find new paths.

The position also includes mentorship and work within working groups. The position we are advertising is part-time but can be combined with other advertised positions if you have the correct qualifications.

Qualifications

Education and professional experience within Horticulture.

Experience in pedagogical work.

Professional teacher certification (Yrkeslärarbehörighet).

Previous experience of teaching in upper secondary school and experience of natural resource education.
