About the position

Dingle Gymnasium is now seeking a certified teacher in English. At Dingle Gymnasium, we offer the Nature and Resource Management Programme with specializations in Gardening, Horse, and Animal Care, with a profile focusing on either dogs or animal healthcare. The school also offers the International Management (IM) Programme. Together with Nuntorp Gymnasium, we form Naturbruk Väst, two schools that are securely rooted in the long tradition of nature-based education that has always characterized the localities where our schools are located.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher in English. The position is for 50% but can be expanded or combined with other subjects such as religion or Swedish, although other subjects may also be of interest. We also have a position for a school librarian advertised.

As a teacher, you are well acquainted with the upper secondary school curriculum and course plans and are a skilled pedagogue. You plan and structure your work independently. You are creative, open to new ideas and ways of thinking, and have an easy time communicating and building relationships with both students and other adults. You are confident and secure in your leadership in the classroom.

You take the initiative and are passionate about school development – building up and creating something new appeals to you. You do not shy away from challenges but see them as opportunities to find new paths.

The position also includes mentorship and work within a work team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have the prescribed education for the position.

Previous experience of teaching in upper secondary school and experience of nature-based education is meritorious.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
