ELFA Assistans i Sverige AB provides personal assistance services for individuals with disabilities who wish to live an active and fulfilling life. We are looking for you: a respectful, calm, and sensitive personal assistant with experience working closely with individuals with extensive disabilities.

The user is a 28-year-old man with extensive physical multi-functional impairments. He communicates primarily non-verbally, which requires good sensitivity and understanding of alternative communication methods. You will be a crucial support in his daily life – both at home and during activities outside the home – assisting him with personal care and social activities.

We are looking for you who:

• Are responsible and feel confident working independently
• Have experience in personal assistance or similar work
• Have knowledge of tube feeding, medication, exercise, transfers, and support in all daily routines
• Are sensitive and have experience with non-verbal communication
• Are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Syriac is desirable.

A healthcare and social care education is an advantage, but experience and personal qualities will carry more weight.
