About You

We are looking for you with a Swedish medical license and specialist competence in dermatology and venereology. You work independently and efficiently, have good collaboration skills, and a genuine interest in education and training.

Working with us involves close collaboration with colleagues from all professional groups, so we are looking for someone with good communication skills, a team spirit, and a humble attitude.

Your Future Workplace

The dermatology clinic consists of a dermatology and STI clinic, as well as a county-wide wound center. The operations are conducted in high-ceilinged, bright, and spacious premises that house a well-equipped treatment ward. The clinic has 23 engaged and competent employees, including four senior consultants, one specialist doctor, and one resident doctor. Together, we conduct ongoing development work through cross-professional process groups. We are an educational unit and regularly receive medical students, meaning supervision is part of the role.

We have close collaboration with the surgical clinic, the ear clinic, and the pathologist regarding skin tumors, as well as with primary care through teledermatology.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and neonatal care. Over 2,300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's inhabitants. Our employees' continuous development work allows us to achieve good results in several different national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar center and Kalmar Sound.
