We are looking for an engaged nurse aide for Ward One in Adult Psychiatry in Kalmar! Here, you will meet people during some of life's most vulnerable moments and have the opportunity to make a real difference every day.

Your team consists of nurse aides, nurses, doctors, and counselors. You work closely with the patient, providing basic care, observations, and documentation. Our patients have varying diagnoses, conditions, and needs, making the work varied and developmental.

In this role, you collaborate with several actors, including municipal psychiatry, psychiatric rehabilitation, and psychiatric clinics. You also actively contribute to a positive work environment.

We strive to succeed together in our mission, which is why we work with close cooperation within the 24-hour care units.

To ensure you thrive, you will be offered an introduction and ongoing internal training.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends on Ward One.

About You

You are educated as a nurse aide or assistant nurse, or have an education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous work experience from psychiatry, treatment homes, or similar operations is meritorious.

As a person, you see the value of building and maintaining good relationships with patients and colleagues, which is the foundation for smooth cooperation. You have the ability to communicate clearly and adapt your language to the recipient and situation.

Your Future Workplace

You will work in newly built and modern premises specifically adapted for specialist psychiatry. These premises promote efficient coordination within psychiatric operations and offer a pleasant environment for you, with spacious staff areas and a beautiful view over the Kalmar Sound and Öland. We are a clinic with 37 care beds and approximately 230 employees. There are three 24-hour care wards and two outpatient clinics here.
