About the Position

Elvbacken is an LSS group home for people with various disabilities and multiple handicaps. The residence consists of 7 apartments with an associated living room and kitchen as a common area. Elvbacken is located in the Fårbos residential area, close to a grocery store and lovely green areas. At our facility, personal interaction is in focus. Job Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a meaningful operation? As a care assistant at Elvbacken, you work closely with our users and create security, participation, and quality of life. You provide individualized support based on each person's needs – everything from nursing care, medical interventions, and daily chores to social support in both apartments and common areas. We work with a low-affective approach as we see this is a successful method.

Tasks such as cooking, baking, laundry, and cleaning are included in your duties. Some tasks are performed via computer, such as documentation in our journal system, scheduling system, meal ordering, etc.

As a care assistant, you report directly to the unit manager and carry out care and service measures according to the Support and Service Act for Certain Disability Groups (LSS) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). You are part of a work group consisting of 9 day staff and 3 night staff.

Elvbacken has close cooperation with nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. As a care assistant, you participate in operational development, quality assurance, and competence development together with your colleagues and manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nurse assistant (undersköterska) or have other education that the employer deems equivalent. Merits include additional training focused on people with disabilities and/or work experience with this target group. You have the ability to work in a structured and organized manner. You are meticulous and keen to meet goals and quality standards. A Category B driver's license is required.
