Job Description

We are looking for you who can step in as a substitute during the summer for longer or shorter periods and replace permanent staff on sick leave, vacation, and other leave.

The tasks within our areas of operation:

  • Home Care: You will help elderly and disabled people in their homes with daily activities such as personal care, cleaning, and shopping. You will also provide social support and encouragement to improve their quality of life.
  • Special Housing: At our special housing facilities, you will work to provide care and support to residents who need extra help in their daily lives. This includes, for example, personal hygiene, medication management, meal support, and participating in various activities to promote their well-being.
  • LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities): Within the LSS operations, you will support people with disabilities in their daily lives. This may involve helping with personal care, leisure activities, work, or studies, and promoting their independence and participation in society.

Qualifications

For the positions, we are looking for you who:

  • Have completed education equivalent to assistant nurse, personal assistant, or caregiver.
  • Have good physical fitness.
  • Work independently and are confident in the role.
  • Are at least 18 years old.
  • Have a driver's license (meritorious).
  • Express yourself fluently in speech and writing, and can process information in speech and writing. A language test may possibly be conducted.
  • Can use a computer as a tool in your work.
  • Are a positive colleague who takes responsibility for your work and for the common work environment.
  • Consider good treatment of others to be natural.
  • Have an open mind towards people's differences and respect for each other's backgrounds and opinions.

If you become a candidate for employment, you must show an extract from the police record. You order this yourself via the e-service on the Police website.

The final candidate for the position must possess valid Swedish citizenship/work permit before the position is filled.

Salary: Hourly wage.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months.
Working hours: According to schedule.
