The Unit's Mission
Arbetsförmedlingen in Kalmar County has approximately 130 employees who together offer in-depth support to job seekers and employers. Our mission is to equip and match job seekers with jobs or studies, as well as contribute to employers' competence supply.
You work throughout Kalmar County together with psychologists, occupational therapists/physiotherapists, and employment counselors. We conduct work-oriented rehabilitation through guidance, investigation, rehabilitation, and work-preparatory measures based on the job seeker's needs.
Job Description
As a psychologist, you assess how disabilities affect work capacity and identify the job seeker's resources and opportunities in the labor market. You strengthen motivation, contribute to labor market policy assessments, and collaborate closely with employment counselors and other professions.
You also support employers when recruiting people with disabilities, for example by suggesting workplace adjustments. The role also involves interpreting medical records, contributing your specialist competence, and collaborating with municipalities, healthcare, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and independent actors.
A large part of the work takes place in Arbetsförmedlingen's digital system support, where you document, make assessments, and collaborate with colleagues and external actors. Therefore, you need to enjoy working digitally and using digital tools as a natural part of your work.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The location is Västervik or Oskarshamn (business travel to other locations may occur).

Basic Requirements for the Position
- Psychologist license from the National Board of Health and Welfare (to be attached to the application)
- Category B driver's license
Other Merits for the Position
- Experience in work-oriented rehabilitation
- Work experience in assessing work capacity
- Work experience in group collaboration
- Experience working in digital business or documentation systems
