Job: Nursing Assistant at Nyhem in Kristdala

At Nyhem in Kristdala, there are three special housing units. You will be part of a work team consisting of a unit manager, personnel planner, nursing assistants, care assistants, and service staff. Together, we engage in close teamwork with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and district doctors.

Job Responsibilities

Do you have a passion for helping other people and want to make a real difference? Then a job with us might be exactly what you are looking for. We are currently looking for two new colleagues to join our team at Nyhem in Kristdala.

Nyhem is a special housing facility where you, together with other staff, implement approved measures for care, healthcare, and services for individuals according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and health/medical care measures according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). The tasks are varied and may include personal care, activities, cleaning, and food shopping. We are developing a working method where daily rehabilitation and activation for those living at Nyhem will be a natural part of everyday life.

The role also includes being a contact person and drawing up implementation plans. Furthermore, it involves administering medication according to delegation. Other healthcare tasks may also occur under the delegation of a nurse.

The values of the Social Services Act are an important tool in our work group that characterizes everything we do in our jobs. Our starting point is always the individual and their well-being.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with experience from similar tasks. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with dementia and/or psychiatry.

As a person, you are open, confident in yourself, and have a professional demeanor. You have analytical skills and are positive. You have a good ability to see the big picture and the conditions and needs of each individual. You are sensitive, have good cooperation skills, and are flexible and adaptable to current circumstances. You thrive in a high-paced environment with a joy for work.

Documentation is a recurring element via our computer systems, which is why you need to be able to communicate well in speech and writing in Swedish. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
