We are now looking for a nurse to join our team in home care services in Kristianstad Municipality!

Your role with us

As a nurse in home care, you meet patients in their own homes and have overall responsibility for patients with various diagnoses and care needs. In your role, you work both independently and in interdisciplinary teams together with nursing assistants and rehabilitation staff. To ensure you have a secure and safe start in the role of a nurse with us, you are offered a mentor and an introduction tailored to your needs and previous experience.

The tasks are varied and may include: Blood sampling, wound dressing, changing central lines, injections, medication management, and assessments in case of changes in health status.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, preferably with previous experience working as a nurse in municipal healthcare. You are familiar with IT-based medical record systems, and we assume that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Experience with the Lifecare documentation system is an advantage. A Category B driving license for manual transmission is required.

Your personal qualities are very important to us, and we are looking for you who have a good ability to communicate, promote a good work environment, and work both independently and in teams. You can create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally, and you collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions. You should be able to prioritize and plan while also having the ability to quickly adapt to the operational needs of the day.

The operations of the Care Administration are directed towards the elderly and persons who need functional support, as well as persons in need of home care services. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, healthcare, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national upper secondary school, and the Assistive Technology Centre in Eastern Skåne.
