Do you want to help drive the future of public transport? Nobina is now looking for an engaged and experienced Maintenance Manager for our workshop in Lund.

About the Traffic Area

Traffic Area Skåne is one of Nobina's 17 traffic areas in Sweden. Approximately 500 employees work here, and the area has a total of 200 vehicles. Our workshop plays a central role in keeping the bus fleet in top condition – 24/7, year-round. This is a full-time position based at our workshop in Lund, where you will have personnel responsibility for approximately 20 mechanics. You will work daytime hours, although some evening and night shifts may occur.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you have operational responsibility for the workshop in Lund. You ensure that the buses are in the right condition and delivered to traffic according to plan – through efficient, goal-oriented, and coaching leadership. The role involves:

• Leading, planning, and following up on daily work in the workshop.
• Setting goals, establishing clear expectations and requirements for the team.
• Responsible for developing and motivating the staff.
• Having full personnel responsibility for the employees in the workshop.
• Working with tools and system support such as OMS – and ensuring the systems are kept up to date.
• Being active in Nobina's electrification journey and driving change work related to new vehicles and infrastructure.

About You

We prefer that you have a few years of experience in a similar leadership role within a similar industry. Furthermore, we look for someone with good technical understanding of vehicles, preferably electric vehicles. To succeed in the role, you must have a strong desire to lead; we are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, coach, develop, and lead a team.

Other skills:

• Good system proficiency – you have worked in business/maintenance systems.
• Fluent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience working in a goal-oriented manner and driving change initiatives.
